On behalf of the Board of Directors and membership of the New Jersey Chapter of the Club Managers Association of America, I would like to express our sincere thanks for your participation in this year’s NJCF Golf Outing.

 

Additionally we are extremely grateful to the Board of Trustees of Alpine Country Club for sharing their highly acclaimed golf course and facilities with us.  Thanks also to Joseph Donnelly, CCM General Manager, Dining Room Manager, Aramis Tavares, Golfhouse Manager, Yody Tavares, Executive Chef Nicholas Gatti, Steve Finamore, CGCS, Golf Course Superintendent  and Kevin Syring, Head Golf Professional for their efforts in the planning and successful execution of the event.

 

The financial success of today’s outing would not be possible without your personal participation and the participation of your clubs.  Thank you for the item donations you and your club members have made towards our silent auction.  Those donations coupled with the financial contributions you have made today enable this event to continue its sponsorship of Shelter Our Sisters, Play for P.I.N.K., and the New Jersey Club Foundation Scholarship Programs. 

 

The New Jersey Club Foundation was founded in 1996.  Since then, we have provided educational scholarships for hospitality students who have worked at NJCMA member clubs as well as offering financial support for educational opportunities and career development for New Jersey Club Managers.

 

The NJCF will donate a portion of today’s proceeds to “Shelter Our Sisters”, a facility for women and children who are victims of domestic violence and a portion of today’s proceeds to NJ State Golf Association Caddie Scholarship.

 

As President of NJCMA, I am looking forward to your continued participation in next year’s golf outing which will be held at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster on

July 25, 2011 as well as all upcoming NJCMA planned social and educational events.
